Noerr advises EMERAM on investment in Garderos
A Noerr team led by Christoph Thiermann has advised the private equity funds managed by EMERAM on acquiring a majority stake in Garderos GmbH. The company specialises in ruggedised router solutions designed for secure data communication and optimal connectivity in harsh environments.
Founded in 2002 as a spin-off of Siemens AG, Garderos has leveraged its extensive project experience to evolve into a market-leading system supplier capable of supplying large numbers of ruggedised routers equipped with proprietary, application-optimised software to operators of critical infrastructures, such as energy networks and traffic monitoring, as well as to telecommunications companies worldwide.
EMERAM, one of the leading investment managers for medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region, is investing in the company. EMERAM focuses on growth companies within the technology/software, value-added services and non-discretionary consumer sectors.
Noerr frequently advises EMERAM, including on transactions such as the sale of the Officium Group and the recent acquisition of CoCoNet AG.
