Outsourcing & Cloud
Our experts know the ins and outs to a successful cloud and outsourcing project
With many years of experience in legal advice in all phases of the digital transformation, from IT projects, cloud computing, data protection, compliance and IT security to complex cross-border outsourcing and multi-sourcing projects and restructuring, we know the IT industry inside out.
Our experts guide you throughout the entire life cycle of your IT project, from strategic planning to legally compliant implementation and ongoing support, including and especially when your project hits a roadblock or is in a crisis.
Our Services
Outsourcing
Leveraging our decades of experience in outsourcing consulting, we can help you successfully implement your project, regardless of the size and complexity or legal framework of your planned venture, from initial outsourcing to next (2nd/3rd) generation outsourcing contracts.
Cloud
Our experts provide legal support for the cloudification of your systems, applications and data ("Anything as a Service"). With regard to multi-cloud/multi-supplier strategies and cloud competence centres, we focus on contractual governance, reporting and monitoring measures as well as compliance and security requirements.
Data Center & Hardware
You can rely on our expertise when setting up, upgrading or expanding your data centre. We draft and negotiate contracts for hosting, maintenance and managed services and assist you during tender procedures.
Tech Transactions
Technology is at the centre of many strategic joint ventures, cooperations and complex M&A transactions. Due to our comprehensive and market-leading advice on all legal aspects of new technologies, we are particularly experienced in assessing and minimising risks in due diligence. We also advise you on IT supply or targets in the context of TSAs, reserve TSAs and out-sourcing agreements in the context of carve-outs. Benefit from the integrated advice of our established, interdisciplinary transaction team.
Conflict resolution
Experience has shown that large transactions and IT outsourcing projects raise a lot of questions that need to be clarified, which can lead to disastrous consequences if they are not taken into account in the contract. In order to enforce claims or rights arising from a failed IT project (warranty, penalties, damages for delay, damages, extraordinary termination, cancellation), careful preparation is required with regard to the facts (factual presentation) and the presentation of evidence. We pay particular attention to this important aspect through our good relationships with renowned experts from practice and science.
Based on our many years of litigation experience our team can anticipate conflicts and resolve them out of court with strong negotiation skills. We are very familiar with all instruments, such as mediation, conciliation and arbitration proceedings as well as proceedings before ordinary courts. If a court settlement is unavoidable, we will accompany you through the entire appeal process.
