Noerr advises Arcus on acquisition of majority stake in the EINHUNDERT group of companies
A Noerr team led by private equity partner Christoph Thiermann has advised Arcus Infrastructure (“Arcus”) on the acquisition of a majority stake in the EINHUNDERT group of companies. Arcus, a leading European infrastructure investor, is acquiring EINHUNDERT through the Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 and its portfolio company Officium GmbH (“Officium”).
Cologne-based EINHUNDERT, which includes EINHUNDERT Energie GmbH and its photovoltaic (PV) financing companies, is a leading partner for scalable tenant and heating energy. It assists real estate companies and energy service providers in decarbonising their entire building portfolios.
Arcus is acquiring the shares of EINHUNDERT’s venture capital and angel investors which have financed the group to date. These investors include Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund, EWE, NRW.BANK, Übermorgen Ventures and kopa ventures (formerly Wi Venture).
