Julian advises on information-, IT- and cyber security-law as well as IT and data protection law. As a member of the Cyber Risks Group, he regularly advises on cross-border cyber incidents as well as on preventative issues relating to the BSIG, the KRITIS Regulation, the NIS2 Directive and other regulatory requirements. His work includes drafting and negotiating contracts for all forms of software and hardware licensing. One of Julian's main areas of expertise is outsourcing for companies in regulated industries, particularly the financial sector. In the area of data protection law, he advises on the preparation of legally compliant documentation of processing operations, particularly in the case of introducing new technologies (such as AI).
