Thomas Heitzer specialises in advising of insurance and reinsurance companies on company law matters, above all on issues relating to insurance supervision law, M&A projects, insurance portfolio transfers, function outsourcing and restructuring, including run-offs. Thomas also advises on issues relating to risk management, business organisation and compliance in the insurance sector. Also worth mentioning is his expertise in the area of advising and representing clients in liability and coverage proceedings, for example in D&O, E&O and PI disputes.
