Transfer of offices in Central and Eastern Europe: Noerr successfully completes closing

02.09.2024

Noerr has achieved a major success in its strategic realignment within the Central and Eastern European markets. Following successful management buyouts in Budapest in May and Warsaw in June, Noerr completed its exit from Central and Eastern Europe by transferring its offices in Bratislava and Prague to the leading law firm in the region Kinstellar, effective 1 September 2024. The transfer of the Bucharest office is expected to be finalised in the coming days, pending final approvals.

“We are pleased with the agreements reached. In Kinstellar, we have found a strong and experienced partner who shares our commitment to excellent service,” says co-managing partner Alexander Ritvay. “Noerr and Kinstellar will closely collaborate in the region moving forward. Our well-established and experienced teams moving to Kinstellar, together with our partnership with Kinstellar, will ensure that our clients continue to receive top-tier service and quality, as well as an uninterrupted continuation of ongoing projects. We would like to thank Kinstellar’s Senior Partner Jason Mogg and Firm Managing Partner Kristóf Ferenczi for their vision and the entire Kinstellar team for the pleasant and smooth cooperation.”

To facilitate a smooth transition, both law firms have collaborated closely and made extensive preparations. All clients have been personally informed about the changes and the next steps being taken to continue their matters. The colleagues at the offices have been offered the chance to join Kinstellar. “Our excellent cooperation with Kinstellar will allow us to continue to provide seamless service to our clients,” says co-managing partner Torsten Fett. “This remains our top priority.”

The collaboration with Kinstellar will extend beyond Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Romania to include other countries in Southeast Europe and Central Asia where Kinstellar has offices.

Noerr is among the leading independent law firms in Europe, with six offices in Germany and offices in Alicante, Brussels, London and New York. The firm has experienced above-average growth in recent years, focusing on the qualitative enhancement of its advisory services.
