Noerr’s Warsaw office to become independent law firm

28.06.2024

Noerr’s Warsaw office will be run by associated partner Karol Kicun as an independent law firm starting from 28 June 2024. Noerr is realigning its strategy in the Central and Eastern European markets and will focus on cooperation in the region going forward.

As part of this process, the offices in Bratislava, Bucharest and Prague are being transferred to the law firm Kinstellar. The Budapest office of Noerr decided not to join Kinstellar and has been operating as an independent law firm under a new name since the beginning of June.

In early April, Noerr and Kinstellar announced an agreement to transfer these offices and their continued operation by Kinstellar and, after finalisation of the transaction, will cooperate in Eastern Europe including Hungary. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Noerr is one of the leading independent law firms in Europe with six offices in Germany as well as offices in Alicante, Brussels, London and New York. Focusing on the qualitative development of its advisory business, the firm has experienced above-average growth over recent years.
