Noerr’s Budapest office to become an independent law firm
Noerr’s office in Budapest is to be continued as an independent law firm by office head Zoltán Nádasdy from 1 June 2024. Noerr is to rely on partnerships in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe going forward. In the course of this, the firm’s offices in Bratislava, Bucharest and Prague will be transferred to the network of law firm Kinstellar. Noerr’s Budapest office will not be joining Kinstellar, and instead will continue to exist under a new name.
Noerr and Kinstellar announced their agreement to transfer the offices in early April and will cooperate on an non-exclusive basis in Eastern Europe, including Hungary, once the transaction has closed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other requirements.
Noerr is one of Europe’s leading independent law firms, with six offices in Germany and offices in Alicante, Brussels, London and New York. By focusing on the qualitative development of its advisory services, the firm has seen above-average growth over the recent years.
