Noerr advises VHV Versicherung on cyber insurance

Associate Dan Schilbach and partner Oliver Sieg from our Dusseldorf office have advised VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG, based in Hanover, on updating their cyber risk insurance product and shifting to the CYBERPROTECT 3.0 product generation.

Our role included carrying out a legal evaluation of the insurance terms and conditions and providing the client with advice on how to structure their product.

“The commercial and financial risks arising from attacks by hackers are increasing the pressure in the business world to select adequate cover for risks,” said Dan Schilbach. “In this area, there is an increasing focus on taking out cyber insurance. We are pleased to be actively involved in the developments on the market and to provide support when designing the products.”
