Noerr advises US investor Disruptive Technology Advisers in USD 250m Series D financing round of Forto

09.03.2022

Led by our partners Felix Blobel and Dominik Rompza, our firm advised US investor Disruptive Technology Advisers LLC as lead investor in a Series D financing round for Berlin-based Forto.

Forto, a leading provider of digitized freight forwarding and supply chain solutions has raised USD 250 million in a pre-emptive Series D investment round led by Disruptive Technology Advisers LLC. Existing investors, including Softbank Vision Fund 2, G Squared, Northzone, Unbound, and A.P. Moeller Holding also participated in the financing round which places the company valuation at USD 2.1 billion.

The new funding builds upon the company's significant financial position, with the total investment raised over USD 600 million to date. Forto had already achieved unicorn status in 2021 and stands for scalable logistics technologies that enable customers to digitally manage their global supply chain from the manufacturer to the end customer.
