Noerr advises portfolio company of J.C. Flowers, Lunis Vermögensmanagement AG on the combination with HRK Vermögensverwaltung
A team from our firm under the joint lead of Volker Land and Robert Korndörfer has advised Lunis Vermögensmanagement AG, a portfolio company of J.C. Flowers, as lead counsel on the combination with HUBER, REUSS & KOLLEGEN (HRK) Vermögensverwaltung GmbH and HRK Family Office GmbH.
Lunis Vermögensmanagement AG relied on support from a Noerr team led by M&A partners Volker Land, co-head of the firm’s Hamburg office, and Munich based Robert Korndörfer during the transaction.
Both advise Financial Institutions M&A on a regular basis. In the past a Noerr team led by Volker Land has advised J.C. Flowers on various deals such as the acquisition and privatisation of Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (HSH Nordbank).
Completion of the transaction is still subject to a number of customary conditions precedent.
Lunis Vermögensmanagement AG has been assisting private clients, entrepreneurs and semi-institutional clients in all aspects of their asset management for many years. With almost 50 employees at six locations in Germany, the team, in its sixth year of independence, currently manages assets of EUR 1.8 billion and has also built up extraordinary expertise and a broad network in the private equity sector.
J.C. Flowers & Co. is an American private equity firm focusing on investments in the financial services industry. Founded in 2001, the company is headquartered in New York City and led by J. Christopher Flowers, previously a partner at Goldman Sachs.
