Noerr advises Omnicom on acquisition of agency group antoni

With a team led by Dusseldorf-based partner Martin Neuhaus, Noerr has advised NYSE-listed Omnicom Group on its acquisition of German agency group antoni.

With more than 5,000 clients in over 70 countries, Omnicom is a global leader in corporate communications/public relations, advertising and marketing.

Headquartered in Berlin, antoni is one of the most innovative and creative advertising agency groups in Europe and a long-standing partner of Daimler, Vodafone, Kärcher and bett1, amongst others. Since 2015, antoni has been the European lead agency for Mercedes-Benz.

antoni currently has a workforce of more than 170 employees. Omnicom’s goal is to, inter alia, create a new, fully integrated, global agency unit under the name “Team X”.

Noerr advised Omnicom on all legal and tax aspects with a team from several practice groups and offices.
