Under the joint leadership of Georg Schneider and Florian Sippel, our law firm comprehensively advised KKR portfolio company Exact Group B.V. on the acquisition of weclapp SE, a leading provider of cloud ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.

The sellers are 3U Holding AG (ETR: UUU) and the management of weclapp, the latter will reinvest into the company as part of the transaction. With the acquisition of weclapp, Exact expands into the significantly growing market for cloud-based ERP solutions in the DACH region.

Exact was acquired by KKR in 2019 and Silver Lake has been co-invested with a minority interest since 2021. The innovative and cloud-based ERP solutions of Exact, headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands, already support over 16,000 SMEs and 550,000 small businesses in the areas of financial management, logistics, CRM, HR and payroll. weclapp is a leading provider of cloud-based ERP software for SMEs in the areas of CRM, project management, accounting, manufacturing and inventory management and serves over 7,000 customers in the DACH region.
