Noerr advises joint venture on sale of Dusseldorf office tower Eclipse to Union Investment

With a team led by Dusseldorf-based partner Christoph Brenzinger and Dusseldorf-based associated partner Henrik Dornscheidt, Noerr has advised a joint venture consisting of die developer Projektentwicklung GmbH and Oman Investment Authority on the sale of the Eclipse office tower on Dusseldorf’s Kennedydamm, which is currently under construction and is let to PwC, to an open-ended real estate fund of Union Investment.

Noerr’s interdisciplinary team provided the client with legal and tax advice in relation to the development of the Eclipse building and its sale.

This included legally structuring and implementing the joint venture, providing legal advice on the acquisition of the project site and letting the Eclipse tower to PwC, as well as providing legal, tax and investment structuring and implementation advice on its sale to Union Investment.

Noerr also advised on the development of the state-of-the-art office building from an IT and data protection law perspective.
