Noerr advises ERGO on refinancing of Maas Tower in Rotterdam
Noerr has advised two insurance companies of ERGO Group AG on the refinancing of the Maas Tower in Rotterdam. The volume of the financing amounts to approximately €140 million and will replace the financing provided by two German Pfandbrief banks. This marks ERGO Group AG’s first financing in the Netherlands.
The 165-metre Maas Tower is the tallest office building in the Benelux countries and has a floor space of around 39,000 m². The high-rise building was completed in 2009 and is 98% let to several users. The main tenants are Deloitte and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which has located the Ministry of Justice there.
