Noerr advises AUCTUS on the sale of PharmaLex to US drug wholesaler Amerisource-Bergen for €1.28bn
A Noerr team led by Florian Becker (London) and Sascha Leske (New York) has advised funds advised by Munich-based financial sponsor AUCTUS Capital Partners AG on the sale of PharmaLex Holding GmbH for €1.28 billion. The purchaser is AmerisourceBergen, a drugs wholesaler listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Noerr’s M&A team provided the sellers with comprehensive advice on this healthcare sector transaction in a competitive auction process.
By managing the project from both London and New York, Noerr was able to support the clients efficiently across time zones during the negotiations with the US strategic and the related cross-border M&A issues in a time-critical bidding process.
PharmaLex, headquartered in Friedrichsdorf, Germany, offers development and licensing services for drugs and medical products. AUCTUS acquired the company in 2015.
