Noerr advises AMBIENTA Capital on acquisition of a majority participation in Lässig Group

With a team led by Georg Schneider and Robert Korndörfer, Noerr has advised the investor Ambienta SGR Spa on the acquisition of a majority participation in Lässig Group, a company specialising in sustainable products for babies, children and the whole family. During the transaction, Noerr provided the investor Ambienta with wide-ranging legal advice as well as on tax structuring and financing.

Ambienta is one of Europe’s leading environmental sustainability investors. Lässig Group was previously held by Arcus Capital, along with BE Beteiligungen and its founders. With Ambienta as new majority shareholder, the founders will retain a significant share in the family business, and Arcus Capital will also remain invested.

Founded in 2006, Lässig has made a name for itself as a top supplier of products such as bags, accessories and clothing for the whole family. Lässig is on a strong growth trajectory and is successfully expanding into European markets such as France and the Benelux countries. The company is using its established presence in Europe’s German-speaking countries as a springboard for this expansion.
