JUVE Awards 2021: Noerr is Law Firm of the Year – other awards in the categories Law Firm of the Year for Banking & Finance and Law Firm of the Year for Corporate

Legal publisher JUVE has named Noerr Law Firm of the Year 2021. Besides this, Noerr has won the awards Law Firm of the Year for Banking & Finance and Law Firm of the Year for Corporate.

“Noerr is now playing in a higher league,” the jury stated in its reasons for singling out Noerr as Law Firm of the Year. It said that hardly any other law firm had capitalised on its strengths the way that Noerr had done since the beginning of the pandemic: “Noerr was at the very front in the rescue of Tui and during the Wirecard insolvency.”

“The distinctions are a credit to our successful and sustainable business model with its focus on qualitative growth,” said managing partner Alexander Ritvay. “The awards are not least the result of a strong team effort,” stressed Torsten Fett. “We would like to express our sincere thanks to our employees, and likewise to our clients for the trust they place in our advisory services.”

The JUVE Award as Law Firm of the Year for Banking & Finance is the firm’s third accolade in this category since being selected in 2012 and 2017. The jury stressed that hardly any other law firm had advised on so many distressed financings on both the bank side and the borrowers’ side as Noerr. It pointed out that the development of the firm’s bond business had been excellent as well.

The award as Law Firm of the Year for Corporate Law is a testament to the Corporate/M&A practice group’s strong market position in advising members of companies and their governing bodies on complex corporate law issues. “Noerr’s corporate practice has a wide range of strengths that are increasingly attracting attention at CEO and management board level as well. Each year it is making headway in advising Dax and MDax groups,” noted JUVE.

The JUVE Awards recognise law firms that have attracted attention as being particularly dynamic due to their work and market position.
