Noerr advises successful bidder for “Germany network”
A team from Noerr led by Christian A. Mayer and Julian von Lucius has supported Allego GmbH, a leading provider of a Europe-wide network of high-speed and ultra-high-speed charging stations for electric vehicles, in its successful bid for the “Germany network” in the first call for bids by the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr).
Noerr provided the successful bidder with extensive advice on public procurement and energy law and conducted the contract negotiations with the German government. Noerr has advised Allego GmbH for many years on electromobility issues. The company operates a quickly growing Europe-wide charging infrastructure network.
The “Germany network” is the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport’s plan to ensure the availability of high-speed charging stations throughout Germany and close the remaining gaps in coverage.
