Noerr partner Ralph Nack is new Reporter General of international IP organisation AIPPI
Ralph Nack is the new Reporter General of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). The Munich-based Noerr partner has now been elected to the office at the organisation’s World Congress, making him one of the three heads of the association, which has more than 8,000 members.
The AIPPI is a politically neutral, non-profit organisation dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property. Its members include lawyers, patent attorneys as well as scientists, judges and government officials. The three heads of the board include the Reporter General, Secretary General and President. The Reporter General is responsible for defining the content of the organisation’s agenda.
“I’m very much looking forward to my new role and I’m very grateful for the trust the delegates of the World Congress have placed in me with their votes,” said Ralph Nack, who has been a member of the extended board since 2022. “My work for AIPPI will focus on the substantive challenges of artificial intelligence for the further development of intellectual property.”
