Dr. Thomas Thalhofer is an expert in legal issues related to the digitalization of business, specializing in contract drafting and legal project consultancy for complex national and international IT projects, cloud initiatives, and IT outsourcing. His additional areas of expertise include corporate transactions within the technology sector, IT conflict resolution and litigation, as well as software licensing law, IT security law, and data and AI law. Beyond his extensive practical experience, Dr. Thalhofer is a prolific author. He serves as co-chair of the Committee on Outsourcing, Cloud, and IT Projects for the German Society for Law and Informatics and is a member of the IT Law Working Group at the German Bar Association. Additionally, Dr. Thalhofer is a lecturer for the IT law specialization course and an adjunct professor in the Postgraduate Course in Legal Informatics at the University of Passau.
