Noerr advises Quirin Privatbank on Green Bond placement of hep global GmbH
A Noerr team led by Frankfurt-based capital markets experts Dominik Kloka, Julian Schulze De la Cruz and Laurenz Wieneke has advised Quirin Privatbank on the structuring and placement of a Green Bond issued by hep global in an amount of EUR 25m. hep global is an international specialist for the development, realization and operational management of photovoltaic projects, as well as an investment manager for solar funds.
The Green Bond has a term of five years and bears interest at 6.5% p.a. The Bonds have been included to trading on the Open Market (Freiverkehr) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company will use the proceeds primarily to finance the acquisition of future photovoltaics projects in the early stage and active development phase. imug rating GmbH has issued a Second Party Opinion on the compatibility of the Green Bond Framework and the use of proceeds with the Green Bond Principles issued by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).
With this transaction, the Noerr team was once again able to demonstrate the law firm’s broad set-up in the area of green & sustainable finance products.
