Noerr advises AEQUITA on acquisition of Toyoda Gosei Meteor

Noerr has advised Munich-headquartered investor AEQUITA SE & Co. KG (AEQUITA) on the acquisition of Toyoda Gosei Meteor (TGM) from the listed Japanese Toyoda Gosei Group. AEQUITA is taking over TGM together with automotive supplier PRETTL.

TGM is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sealing systems for the automobile and automotive supply industry, for technical applications such as special-purpose vehicles, environmental technology and structural and civil engineering, with annual sales of around €130m. Besides the German facilities in Bockenem and Worbis with 1,200 employees, a further 350 staff are employed by the US subsidiary Meteor Sealing Systems LLC in Dover (Ohio).

A Noerr team led by Christoph Thiermann and Georg Schneider advised AEQUITA comprehensively on the acquisition.
