Noerr advises private equity fund EMERAM on acquisition of CoCoNet AG

Noerr has provided comprehensive legal advice to EMERAM Private Equity Fund II SCSp (“EMERAM”) on the acquisition of CoCoNet AG (“CoCoNet”). In addition to advising on the acquisition under the overall leadership of Munich-based partner Christoph Thiermann, a Noerr team led by Frankfurt-based partner Michael Schuhmacher also advised on financing the transaction.

EMERAM is a leading investment company for medium-sized companies in German-speaking regions. EMERAM focuses on growth companies in the technology/software, value-added services and non-discretionary consumer sectors.

CoCoNet is a provider of software for digital corporate banking with a focus on payment transactions and cash management. The company offers autonomous front-office solutions that enable financial institutions to improve their customer experience without having to change their core banking systems. CoCoNet also has an international presence with offices in various countries such as Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Switzerland and Austria.
