Anti-corruption compliance: Cross-border challenges in Brazil, Germany and Russia

Companies doing business globally are confronted with the extraterritorial scope of application of tough anti-bribery laws as well as with increasing international anti-corruption enforcement efforts.

 

In this context, international companies subject to foreign anticorruption laws entering the Brazilian market via acquisitions or joint ventures seek conformity by the Brazilian target or business partner with the standards imposed by those regulations.
