Oliver Schließer is qualified as a German and an American certified public accountant and German tax advisor. He advises companies on compliance with German Commercial Code and IFRS (US-GAAP) accountancy requirements and related issues and due diligence in the course of transactions.

- Hermes Group: Advising the pharmaceuticals group on the restructuring/spin-off of several business units in Germany and abroad; project lead dealing with commercial, tax, and corporate law
- Listed heavy metals group: Advising on extensive structuring in Germany; project lead for commercial matters
