Noerr advises Omnicom on acquisition of Hamburg-based creative agency Grabarz & Partner
A Noerr team under the leadership of Dusseldorf-based partner Martin Neuhaus has advised NYSE-listed Omnicom Group on its acquisition of Hamburg-based creative agency Grabarz & Partner.
Omnicom is a global leader in corporate communications/public relations, advertising and marketing with more than 5,000 clients in over 70 countries. With the acquisition of Grabarz & Partner, Omnicom further cements its leading position in Germany, the fourth largest advertising market in the world.
Founded in 1993, Grabarz & Partner is a world-class creative agency headquartered in Hamburg. With more than 260 employees, the agency works with prominent global and local clients such as Deutsche Bahn, IKEA, Lidl and Porsche. Grabarz & Partner’s management team will continue to serve in their current roles following the closing of the transaction.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions, including governmental approvals.
