Noerr partner Anke Meier confirmed by German government as conciliator listed by the World Bank’s arbitration institution ICSID
The Federal Republic of Germany has confirmed Dr Anke Meier, partner and co-head of Noerr’s Litigation, Arbitration & ADR practice group for a further five years as conciliator for the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Anke Meier was first appointed as a conciliator in 2014. Headquartered in Washington, ICSID belongs to the World Bank Group and offers arbitral and conciliatory proceedings for the settlement of investment disputes. Its main task is to mediate and resolve disputes in connection with bilateral investment treaties.
Anke Meier is specialised in arbitration, international litigation and investment protection law. Admitted to practice law in both Germany and the USA, she represents companies from diverse industries in arbitral proceedings both as party representative and arbitrator, above all in energy law, commercial law and post-M&A disputes and advises investors on drafting investment contracts.
