Noerr expands its Employment & Pensions practice group with Boris Blunck
Noerr is further expanding its Employment & Pensions practice group: Boris Blunck (40) will be joining the firm’s Frankfurt office on 1 December as an associated partner. He is coming to Noerr from Allen & Overy.
With the addition of Boris Blunck, Noerr is specifically strengthening a strategically important area of its employment law practice at its Frankfurt office. From Frankfurt, the firm advises banks and insurers in particular on regulatory employment law issues. “Together with Boris Blunck, we will continue to specialise in strategically important topics in this area,” emphasises Andreas Butz, head of Noerr’s Employment & Pensions practice group and partner at the firm’s Dusseldorf office.
In the area of regulatory employment law, Boris Blunck advises banks, insurers and their executive bodies on topics such as executive remuneration, corporate governance issues and on drafting and implementing remuneration systems. The new associated partner also has extensive experience in handling and coordinating complex large-scale international projects.
“Boris Blunck’s expertise will also be of great benefit in M&A transactions and in high-profile projects for banks and insurers as well as in important compliance projects,” says Andreas Butz.
Most recently, Boris Blunck advised listed companies on setting up new executive remuneration systems in line with regulatory requirements, several major banks on implementing the German Remuneration Regulation for Institutions as well as banks and insurers in connection with cross-border mergers in Germany and abroad.
Boris Blunck studied law in Wurzburg. He has practised as a lawyer in Frankfurt since 2010, initially at a US law firm, before joining Allen & Overy in 2014.
