Noerr advises listed company ecotel communication ag and Consultist GmbH on strategic sale of easybell GmbH
With a team led by Thorsten Reinhard, Noerr has advised listed company ecotel communication ag and Consultist GmbH on the sale of their equity interests in easybell GmbH. The European telecommunications provider Dstny, a portfolio company of Apax Partners France, is acquiring all of the shares in easybell GmbH.
Founded in 2006 and based in Berlin, easybell is an internet and telephony provider offering products for professional telecommunication to business and private customers. easybell specialises in IP-based communications and provides, among other things, VoIP telephony, SIP trunks, a cloud telephone system developed in-house and, if needed, complete DSL connections.
ecotel is a leading German provider of modern telecommunications solutions for business customers. With the sale of its easybell shares, ecotel intends to accelerate its growth by focusing its business on scalable cloud telephony and broadband services while increasing shareholder value.
The transaction is expected to be completed this year.
