Noerr advises Italian company NextChem on strategic acquisition of GasConTec

A Noerr team led by Tibor Fedke and Vanessa Hoffmann Linhard has advised the Italian Maire Tecnimont group and its subsidiary NextChem S.p.A on acquiring GasConTec GmbH. GasConTec is a German high-tech company specialising in process technology development and global project development activities in the energy sector.

GasConTec holds over 80 patents and has a wealth of expertise in developing climate-neutral technologies to produce hydrogen, ammonia and methanol from crude oil and natural gas. These technologies will expand NextChem’s product range in key segments, particularly in the cost-effective and energy-neutral operation of large plants. Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. is an industrial group specialising in the construction of petrochemical plants and listed on the Italian stock exchange.
