Noerr continues generational change

At the turn of the year, younger partners will be taking over the reins of several practice groups at Noerr. In addition, the Energy practice group will be expanded to include advice on infrastructure issues.

• Private Equity: Christian Pleister (Berlin) and Georg Christoph Schneider (Munich) are handing over the leadership of the practice group to Christoph Thiermann (Munich) and Felix Blobel (Berlin). Felix will focus on venture capital.
• M&A: Alexander Hirsch (Dusseldorf) will hand over joint leadership of the practice group to Laurenz Tholen (Berlin), who will relocate to Frankfurt. Natalie Daghles (Dusseldorf) will remain co-head.
• Energy: This practice group will be restructured under the name Energy and Infrastructure. Katrin Andrä (Berlin) will join Christof Federwisch (Frankfurt) as co-head of the group.

“We are delighted that once again we can pass on the responsibility for leading and further developing our practice groups to the hands of younger colleagues,” says co-managing partner Torsten Fett. “By renaming the practice group, we are also better showcasing our particular expertise in advising on major infrastructure projects in the market,” adds co-managing partner Alexander Ritvay.
