Noerr advises Patron on acquisition of commercial property in Ludwigsburg
A Noerr team led by partner Carsten Heinz has advised private equity company Patron Capital and its acquisition company on the German tax aspects of acquiring a commercial property in Ludwigsburg from MANN+HUMMEL.
Patron and the real estate development company Inbright intend to invest up to €180 million in redeveloping the industrial site and creating a modern R&D campus. The parts of the site sold by MANN+HUMMEL will be refurbished and partially replaced with new buildings. Overall, some 75,000m2 of rental space will be created, 32,000m2 of it new buildings. The site is located between Schlieffenstrasse, Grönerstrasse and Wilhelm-Fein-Strasse on the western side of Ludwigsburg.
The tax advice provided by Noerr included tax due diligence for the property transaction, the acquisition structure and the purchase agreement negotiations, plus tax advice in connection with financing the planned redevelopment work.
